Highly recommend for cozy getaway
David, the owner, was just a phone call away if anything was needed. I mean, he even found my tripod and called me to let me know I left it behind, that kind of service is rare.

Had an amazing time with friends! We visited a stunning lakeside and hiked up to a nearby viewpoint. The place was clean and cozy, and Judy was super helpful. The breakfast was delicious with various options, including a fantastic cooked breakfast. Perfect location close to shops and restaurants.
Our room's shower was a bit tricky to use, but Judy fixed it quickly.

The room was impeccably clean, and the cozy little loft area made for a perfect spot to unwind after a long day of exploring! I loved sipping tea while soaking in the lovely garden views. The hearty breakfast really hit the spot. The only thing to note is the steep stairs, so pack light if you can! 😄

Charming and Cozy Stay
Had a lovely time staying in room three! The full English breakfast was amazing, and those fresh flapjacks after our hikes were a sweet surprise. Just a bit noisy from the street, especially since we were on the top floor. But overall, great location near the train station and a nice walk to Bowness.

Outstanding breakfast and warm hospitality
I recently enjoyed a delightful stay where the hosts, David and Laura, truly made all the difference. The breakfast was a standout, featuring homemade granola that was absolutely delicious, and the attention to detail throughout the guesthouse made it feel like a home away from home. The rooms were charming and well-appointed, but one drawback was the limited check-in time, which could be a hassle for late arrivals.

The property offers a cozy and welcoming atmosphere with spotless rooms and a well-appointed dining area. Breakfast options were extensive, featuring freshly baked croissants and a hearty cooked breakfast, fueling our day perfectly. Although on-street parking is available, it can be a bit tight at peak times. the proximity to the train station occasionally raised concerns about noise, but it was hardly noticeable during our stay.

Our stay was lovely! The room was spacious, clean, and quite charming. Plus, the location is fantastic, just a stone's throw from the train station and cozy cafes.
Don't expect hefty towels unless you enjoy playing peek-a-boo with your modesty! breakfast's gone, so munchies might cost you an arm and a leg.
